We are currently offering the fine sheep listed below for sale.  We understand that starting a flock or making additions to your current flock are decisions not to be entered into lightly.

Why Icelandics?  Icelandics are a triple purpose breed, providing excellent wool, milk and gourmet meat.  They are excellent foragers that do well on grass (hay in the non grazing months) and minerals alone.  We do not grain our sheep!  Icelandics are hardy sheep.  Our sheep live outdoors year round with shelters to get out of the driving rains or wet, heavy lake effect snows.  The ewes are excellent mothers, protective and nurturing with their lambs, but not aggressive toward us.  Lambs are raised on mother's milk, pasture and minerals, reaching a finish weight by mid to late summer.  Our sheep have helped to turn our abandoned over grown farm into a farm again with beautiful pastures.  We are very pleased with our sheep.

Why buy from us?  We want you to be satisfied for your sheep!  When building our flock, which is a never ending process, we select for carcass quality, wool quality and milkiness of dams.  The lambs are from our best crosses.  They are well grown with excellent fleeces and confirmation.  The adult sheep offered for sale meet the criteria of animals we would keep for our own flock, that's why we've had them for several years.  The rams and ewes are proven breeders with those excellent characteristics we select for. We have  offspring from the ewes and rams in our flock which is why we are offering them for sale.  We do not sell our culls, they go to the butcher.  We are available to share our experience and answer your questions until you do not need us anymore.

We offer a 10% discount on 3 or more sheep.  A non-refundable deposit of 1/3 will hold your sheep until they leave our farm.  We will mark the sheep as reserved for 7 business days.  Upon receiving your deposit within this time frame, your new addition will be marked as pending until it leaves our farm.  The balance is due upon the departure of the sheep.  We accept checks, cash or money orders. If for some reason the sheep becomes unavailable, your deposit will be refunded.

The listing of sheep for sale below are part of our fall flock reduction sale.  To receive the discounted prices below, sheep must leave our farm in October, prior to breeding season.

Unregistered adult sheep will have their scrapies tag, CDT and will be wormed for you.  In addition to the above, registered sheep will have their tattoos and the registration will be transferred to you. Health Certificates from our veterinarian will be provided for an additional fee.
